The invention discloses a waste fishpond ecological
restoration method based on an ecological corridor. The method comprises the following steps: surveying and mapping a waste fishpond; a biological corridor is constructed between the land and the
fish pond to ensure the passage of terrestrial animals; an aquatic ecological corridor is constructed between the fishpond and the ocean, and
tidal water is introduced to realize periodical fluctuation of the
water level of the fishpond; pond

cutting and tidal creek excavation are conducted on the interior of the fishpond, and a gentle slope area and a water power circulation
system which are communicated with the ecological corridor are formed; shrubs are planted in different areas according to the elevation, the function of a fishpond
ecosystem is restored, and continuous communication of a land-fishpond-
marine ecosystem is achieved by building a biological corridor between a land forest and a waste fishpond and building an aquatic ecological corridor between a sea and the waste fishpond. Terrestrial animals can smoothly enter the
mangrove forest restoration area of the fishpond through the biological corridor, and
aquatic organisms can freely migrate between the ocean and the fishpond through the aquatic ecological corridor, so that obstruction of the abandoned fishpond to biological migration is effectively eliminated, and regional ecological
connectivity is enhanced.
