The invention discloses an iron-carbon micro-electrolytic filler and a preparation method thereof. The iron-carbon micro-electrolytic filler is prepared from, by
mass, 40-75 parts of reduced
iron powder, 10-40 parts of carbon
powder, 10-20 parts of
bentonite, 2-6 parts of a catalyst and 0.5 -5 parts of a pore-forming agent. By adding the catalyst into the iron-carbon micro-electrolytic filler, thereaction activity of the filler can be improved, the
polarization phenomenon generated between electrodes along with the
prolongation of the reaction time is removed, the efficiency of disposing
wastewater is improved, and no hardening and
passivation phenomena occur on the surface of the filler. In a
roasting process for preparing the filler, since the
roasting temperature is 400-700 DEG C, thebentonite cannot be decomposed, and the
roasting energy consumption is reduced. In a use process of the filler, the
bentonite is not hydrolyzed, has an
adsorption effect, plays a certain role in removing pollutants in the
wastewater and cannot generate secondary
pollution. Because of the addition of the pore-forming agent, the iron-carbon micro-electrolytic filler prepared by the method has the advantages that the
porosity is high, the contact area with the
wastewater is large, and the disposal effect is great.
