The application discloses a precise and simple FCM ship body forming die. The die is made of a plurality of
station plates, positioning clamping plates and face plates which are connected to form a reduced-size frame with ship
body lines inside. The face plates in the frame are attached with forming surfaces which are composed of a
glass fiber strength layer, a
polyester putty layer and a surface gel coat layer. The frame is connected and fixed with a base and a supporting rod made of rectangular tubes to form a stable ship body die. On the face plates in the frame, reference points calibrated by a
laser range finder are arranged at the intersection of each
station and different waterlines, and the connecting lines of the reference points form a point net which is the same as the ship
body lines, so as to mark the size of the forming surface, thereby ensuring the size accuracy, smooth lines and
smooth surface of the die. The die is made of light materials, has the advantages of light weight, stable structure, precise lines, simple process, short
production cycle and low manufacturing cost, and is suitable for the production of FCM ship bodies with high production technical requirements and small production batches.
