The invention discloses a
medicine for treating sebrrheic alopecia. The
medicine is prepared from the following Chinese herbal medicines in parts by weight: 10 to 15 parts of
semen myristicae, 23 to 27 parts of nettle, 10 to 17 parts of
lotus plumule, 3 to 7 parts of raspberry fruit, 4 to 6 parts of spica prunellae, 6 to 8 parts of fructus mori albae, 3 to 5 parts of herba cistanches, 3 to 5 parts of
semen cuscutae, 3 to 5 parts of corn stigma, 4 to 7 parts of
lepidium meyenii walp, 7 to 9 parts of taro, 2 to 4 parts of Chinese teasel root, 6 to 9 parts of
tetrapanax papyrifer, 2 to 5 parts of fructus aurantii, 1 to 3 parts of rhizoma alpiniae officinarum, 5 to 7 parts of edible tree
fungus, 6 to 8 parts of
cicada slough, 4 to 6 parts of whitish honey, 8 to 10 parts of polycarpaea corymbosa and 6 to 8 parts of narrow leaf spicebush. The
medicine can be used for effectively inhibiting 5alpha-
reductase so that
testosterone is prevented from being converted into
dihydrotestosterone and the sebrrheic alopecia is further treated.
