The invention discloses a method for improving
castability of a high-purity industrial pure iron small square billet
production line. The method comprises the following steps of KR molten iron pretreatment, converter
smelting, LF refining, RH vacuum treatment and
continuous casting. According to the method, in the early stage of LF, oxidizing
slag is used for removing
manganese and
phosphorus, in the later stage, slagging-off modification treatment is carried out, a minimum LF and minimum outbound
oxygen formula is formulated, so that the RH carbon-
oxygen reaction requirement is met, vacuum natural
decarburization is used, RH end point carbon can be stably controlled to be 0.0007-0.001%, after RH aluminum is added for deoxidation, a
calcium deoxidizing agent is added under the low-true-degree condition for inclusion denaturation, and the RH carbon-
oxygen reaction requirement is met. By means of the method,
continuous production can be achieved on an industrial pure iron small square billet
production line, the finished product C is smaller than or equal to 0.0015%, Mn is smaller than or equal to 0.025%, P is smaller than or equal to 0.003%, S is smaller than or equal to 0.003%, the high industrial level can be achieved, the number of
continuous casting furnaces is larger than or equal to 7, and the method is particularly suitable for producing pure iron on a
production line without RH top lance equipment in the RH procedure.
