The invention discloses a
posterior cruciate ligament protection brace, and belongs to the technical field of
medical rehabilitation assistive devices. The brace comprises a shank fixing mechanism, a
thigh fixing mechanism, an angle-adjustable hinge, a tibial
plateau flexible supporting mechanism and a
waist fixing mechanism. Wherein the
waist fixing mechanism is worn on the
waist of a
human body and is connected with the outer side of the
thigh fixing mechanism through an elastic connecting piece to form a suspension structure, and a waist
anchor point is used for overcoming gliding caused by the gravity of the brace. The tibial
plateau flexible supporting mechanism is arranged on the rear side of the near end of the shank fixing mechanism and comprises a
ratchet knob, a steel cable and a TPU lip-shaped supporting pad. The tension of the
steel rope is adjusted through the knob, the lip-shaped supporting pad is driven to push the near end of the
gastrocnemius muscle forwards, and therefore accurate and quantifiable forward thrust is applied to the tibial
plateau. The problem that a traditional brace is prone to slipping is thoroughly solved through the suspension
system, the unique anatomical supporting structure is used for effectively resisting
tibia retrograde, damaged posterior cruciate ligaments are replaced to maintain
joint stability, and the anatomical support has the advantages of being stable to wear, accurate in mechanical conduction and convenient and fast to adjust.
