Human and mammalian skin undergoes a variety of changes associated with chronological aging. Various environmental factors, disease states and genetic disorders may accelerate both the appearance of aging skin and also the structural and functional changes associated with aging skin. Ultraviolet radiation from the sun is one of the classic known and well-defined means of accelerating or worsening the aging of the skin and this is frequently termed photoaging. Other environmental factors, such as oxidative stress, free radicals, environmental toxins such as ozone and cultural customs or habits such as tobacco smoking are other known probe accelerators in photo aging skin. A wide variety of other factors known and unknown contribute to accelerated or premature aging of the skin. This invention discusses methods where electromagnetic radiation, in particular, light, can be used to photobiomodulate the activity of living cells to delay, diminish, retard or even reverse the structural and functional effects of aging of the skin and other living cells and tissues. In particular methods described for improving the appearance, structure, function of aging skin, including up and down regulating the genotypic markers for the phenotype of aging skin.

Fish skin derived matrix metalloproteinase antagonist peptide

The invention provides a preparation method of a polypeptide for inhibiting activity of matrix metalloproteinase in photo-aged skin; by taking fish skin as a raw material, an enzyme sensor-artificial neural network online monitoring model is established through a combined enzyme of alkaline protease and pancreatin to control a hydrolysis progress, so that hydrolysis degree is 18%-19%; an enzymatic hydrolysis solution is filtered by virtue of a microporous filtering membrane of 0.22 micron and active peptide with molecular weight cutoff ranging from 300Da to 1000Da is ultra-filtered by virtue of a spiral-wound ultrafiltration membrane; and finally, the peptide is subject to sequential separation and purification by virtue of an SP-Sephadex C25 cation exchange column and a Sephadex G25 gel column, and the peptide is freeze-dried so as to obtain a target antagonist peptide that a main feature segment is Gly-Pro matrix metalloproteinase (MMPs). The fish skin gelatin derived bioactive peptide prepared by the invention is capable of significantly inhibiting the increase in skin MMPs content caused by ultraviolet ray and is relatively good in anti-oxidative activity; and the antagonist peptide provides a wider prospect for the development and utilization of active peptide which is prepared from fish skin gelatin and has photo-aging resisting activity for skin.

The invention provides a thermoplastic elastomer composite processing method of color door frame type sealing strips, comprising the following steps of: (1) material feeding; (2) extrusion of rubber sealing strips through an extruder; (3) microwave vulcanization; (4) hot air vulcanization; (5) arrangement of the vulcanized rubber sealing strips into the extruder, and extrusion of thermoplastic elastomers to cover density rubber; (6) water tank cooling; and (7) material discharge, wherein the cooled section bars are cut with the desired length and then are orderly arranged in a circulating box. The invention separates a thermoplastic elastomer composite working operation and mutually divides two processing techniques of rubber and thermoplastic elastomers. In the invention, the extruded thermoplastic elastomers are cooled only, and the performance of the thermoplastic elastomers depends on the material per se and is not influenced by other working operations, thereby improving the quality of the products and controlling the production cost. The color thermoplastic elastomers are composite and have smooth and clear surfaces, thus the photo-aging and thermal-aging performances are not influenced by heating any more.
