The invention discloses an organic phase electrolyte and an application thereof in a negative electrode of a redox flow battery. The organic phase electrolyte consists of active materials, a supporting electrolyte and an organic solvent, wherein the active materials are diphenyl ketone and a derivative thereof, anthrone and a derivative thereof, or dibenzoyl methane and a derivative thereof; the supporting electrolyte is selected from tetraethylammonium hexafluorophosphate, tetraethylammonium tetrafluoroborate, tetrabutylammonium hexafluorophosphate or tetrabutylammonium tetrafluoroborate; and the organic solvent is selected from acetonitrile, tetrahydrofuran, propylene carbonate, ethylene carbonate, dimethyl sulfoxide, dimethylformamide, glycol dimethyl ether or ethylene glycol diethyl ether. The organic phase electrolyte disclosed by the invention has relatively low electrochemical potential and high electrochemical property; when the organic phase electrolyte is used as the negative electrode electrolyte of the redox flow battery for assembling an organic phase redox flow battery, relatively high open-circuit voltage can be realized, so that the energy density of the battery can be improved; and meanwhile, the capacity fading of the battery can be lowered, so that the cycle life of the battery can be prolonged.

Preparation method for 4-tertiary butyl-4'-methoxy dibenzoyl methane

The invention relates to a preparation method for 4- tertiary butyl-4'-methoxy dibenzoyl methane, which belongs to the technical field of fine chemical engineering. The preparation method for the 4-tertiary butyl-4'-methoxy dibenzoyl methane comprises the following steps of: (1) evenly mixing p methoxy acetophenone with solvent; (2) evenly mixing p-tert-butylbenzoic acid methyl ester with the solvent, adding sodium methoxide or sodium ethylate accounting for 60-100wt% of the p methoxy acetophenone, heating to 40-100DEG C, dropwise adding the p methoxy acetophenone solution, finishing dropwise adding until the mass ratio of the p methoxy acetophenone to the p-tert-butylbenzoic acid methyl ester is 0.6-2.0, and continuing to carry out insulation reaction; (3) after reaction is complete, obtaining a crude product, regulating the pH (potential of hydrogen) of the obtained crude product to be less than or equal to 5, carrying out dissolved clarification after stirring, washing with water, and layering; and (4) after solvent is removed from the material washed with water, adding methyl alcohol to dissolve, decoloring by activated carbon, repeatedly adding the methyl alcohol, and refining again to obtain the product. The preparation method for the 4-tertiary butyl-4'-methoxy dibenzoyl methane has the advantages of high molar yield and moderate reaction condition and is suitable for industrial production.

Novel method for efficiently synthesizing dibenzoylmethane

The invention relates to a novel method for efficiently synthesizing dibenzoylmethane. The product (dibenzoylmethane) is non-toxic, tasteless and widely used in PVC (polyvinyl chloride) plastics and ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) resins. The invention belongs to preparation of compounds containing C0 groups and only connecting carbon or hydrogen atoms, in particular relates to preparation of beta-dione. The method is characterized in that the dibenzoylmethane is prepared from methyl benzoate and acetophenone through a condensation reaction in an alkaline environment. The methyl benzoateis prepared from benzoic acid and methanol as raw materials and sulfuric acid as a catalyst through an esterification reaction. The main raw material, namely the methyl benzoate, of the target product, namely dibenzoylmethane, of the method, is prepared through a self-designed process, a catalyst, namely sodium methoxide, of the condensation reaction, is prepared according to the self-designed process, and technological conditions of the key steps of the condensation reaction for synthesizing the dibenzoylmethane are optimized. The invention provides the method for preparing the dibenzoylmethane with low raw material cost, a short condensation reaction period, few by-products, a high yield of dibenzoylmethane, complete solvent recovery and an excellent capability for improving photothermal stability of a thermoplastic resin. The condensation yield is 85%, and the crystallization yield is 95%.
