This invention provides an automatic identification method for pasture depressions and reservoirs based on digital elevation models (DEMs), comprising: acquiring topographic data of a target watershed using UAV-borne LiDAR technology to generate an original DEM of the target watershed; eliminating noise from the topographic data based on the DEM to generate a smoothed DEM_F and raster data of potential depression locations, DEM_EX; generating morphologically reconstructed elevation data based on DEM_F to obtain a residual DEM_F model of the target watershed, CS3; processing CS3 using a MATLAB regional connectivity analysis algorithm to identify regional connectivity and generate a preliminary identification result CS4 of embankments protruding from the surface; obtaining a final identification result CS7 of embankments based on CS4; and spatially overlaying analysis of CS7 and DEM_EX to output the three-dimensional coordinates of the depressions and reservoirs. This invention enables rapid and automatic identification of pasture depressions and reservoirs in semi-arid regions.

This invention proposes a method, device, electronic device, and storage medium for estimating soil moisture, relating to the field of soil moisture monitoring technology. The method determines the soil wilting point moisture content of the test area based on soil gravity moisture content test data, and uses the soil dielectric constant corresponding to the wilting point moisture content as a reference soil dielectric constant. Based on ground-penetrating radar images of the test area, the soil dielectric constants at various underground locations in the test area are obtained. Using the reference soil dielectric constant and the soil dielectric constants at various underground locations in the test area, the soil moisture content at each underground location in the test area is estimated. This overcomes the systematic overestimation problem commonly found in existing methods, improving the overall accuracy and robustness of soil volumetric moisture content estimation in key scenarios such as arid, semi-arid regions, and shallow root zones.
