The application belongs to the technical field of biological
medicine, and particularly relates to application of a
reagent for inhibiting PPAR alpha expression in preparation of a
medicine for treating
male infertility diseases, wherein a PPAR alpha inhibitor (GW6471) or an
active oxygen scavenger (NAC) is given to
male mice exposed to
cadmium water, it is found that the number of
sperm in a Cd+GW6471 group is higher than that in a Cd+NAC group, the
serum testosterone level in the Cd+GW6471 group is also higher than that in the Cd+NAC group, and the results of
testicular tissue pathological staining also show that GW6471 can more significantly restore the decrease in the number of mature spermatogenic tubules caused by Cd, GW6471 restores the decrease in the number of SYCP3 positive spermatocytes caused by Cd, so that the
sperm production efficiency is restored, and therefore the application of the
reagent for inhibiting PPAR alpha expression in preparation of the
medicine for treating
male infertility diseases is proposed.
