A method for fabricating light emitting diode (LEDs) comprises providing a plurality of LEDs on a substrate wafer, each of which has an n-type and p-type layer of Group-III nitride material formed on a SiC substrate with the n-type layer sandwiched between the substrate and p-type layer. A conductive carrier is provided having a lateral surface to hold the LEDs. The LEDs are flip-chip mounted on the lateral surface of the conductive carrier. The SiC substrate is removed from the LEDs such that the n-type layer is the top-most layer. A respective contact is deposited on the n-type layer of each of the LEDs and the carrier is separated into portions such that each of the LEDs is separated from the others, with each of the LEDs mounted to a respective portion of said carrier.

The present invention relates to a hydraulic-transmission- braking three-use lubricating oil composition, which is prepared by mixing the following raw materials, by weight, 85-98% of high viscosity index base oil, 0.1-5% of an extreme pressure wear resistance agent, 0.1-4% of an antioxidant, 0.1-3% of a metal deactivator / antirust agent, 0.1-5% of a friction modifier, and 0.1-2% of a dispersing agent. The hydraulic-transmission- braking three-use lubricating oil composition has beneficial effects of good low temperature fluidity, friction reduction, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, rust resistance, emulsification resistance and foaming resistance, and can meet requirements of universal hydraulic transmission oil used by large-medium-sized tractors and construction machinery so as to achieve complete lubricating protection on hydraulic parts, transmission parts, gear parts, power output parts and braking parts, such that a long service life is provided, equipment operation stability is easily improved, and energy saving and consumption reduction are provided.

Audible Anti-theft Tag

An audible anti-theft tag that has a multiple ways to activate an audible alarm under predetermined conditions. When the pin assembly is forcibly detached from an EAS tag, a high decibel alarm is automatically activated. Proximity probe transmitter

A digital based two wire proximity transmitter system and a method for calibrating the system, wherein the transmitter includes a customized linearization table uniquely generated during calibration to take into account the unique impedance properties of a particular probe / coaxial cable configuration. During calibration, the probe is positioned adjacent a calibration target. The calibration target is selected to have the same material characteristics as the target to be monitored during actual operation of the transmitter in the field. At a fixed distance between the probe and calibration target, the resonant frequency of the probe / cable system is determined. Thereafter, utilizing this resonant frequency to excite the probe, the voltage response of the probe / cable system is determined as the distance between the probe and the target material is incrementally changed. The voltage output is used to build a table for incremental distances, wherein each distance is characterized by a non-linear output that has been equated to a linear output. This uniquely generated table is subsequently downloaded into the transmitter for reference during monitoring.

The invention discloses a multi-channel remote keyless entry (RKE) transponder having dynamically reconfigurable input channel selection, channel disable, settable sensitivity for each channel, wake-up filter timing parameters, automatic gain control hold, internal tuning capacitor selection for each channel's antenna, minimum modulation depth requirement for input signal and bi-directional talk-back. Programmable minimum modulation depth requirement reduces false wake-up of the RKE transponder. An antenna for each channel of the RKE transponder may be tuned with internal tuning capacitors for improved range and receiver sensitivity. The internal tuning capacitor parameters may be stored in a configuration register. Gain of the channel may be fixed while the antenna is tuned. The antennas may be de-queued for talk-back to a base station for low frequency bidirectional communications. An external control device may dynamically read from and write to the configuration registers via a serial communications interface.

Each access point (AP) in a wireless local area network is provided with a primary interface and a secondary interface wherein the primary interface performs normal communication with user terminals and broadcasts standard beacon frames on its working channel, and the secondary interface broadcasts extended beacon frames on working channels of neighbor APs sequentially. The extended beacon frame includes at least information of BSSID, SSID, working channel and the like of the primary interface of the corresponding AP. The user terminal may receive the standard beacons from the serving AP it is communicating with and the extended beacons from the neighbor APs, and according to the two kinds of beacons, the terminal may calculate the signal quality with the primary interface of the serving AP and the signal qualities with the neighbor APs at the current position. By an algorithm of comparing the signal qualities of the best neighbor AP and the serving AP, the terminal may accurately and quickly determine whether to perform handoff with minimized cost.
