The invention discloses a viscosifier for drilling fluid and a preparation method thereof. An amphiprotic hydrophobic association type water-soluble viscosifier for drilling fluid is prepared by steps of mixing water-soluble monomers with hydrophobic monomers to perform a polymerization reaction, wherein the water-soluble monomers and the hydrophobic monomers have different ion categories. Amphiprotic ionic groups simultaneously exist in the structure of the viscosifier for drilling fluid provided by the invention to effectively absorb or bridge clay particles so as to guarantee an excellent tackifying effect; meanwhile, the ionic water-soluble monomers can be used for greatly improving the content of hydrophobic units in the polymer structure through hydrophilic ionic groups on the condition of high macromolecular water-solubility; and the ionic hydrophobic monomer units are introduced to guarantee the tackifying effect and water loss reduction effect of the viscosifier under high-temperature and high-salt conditions through hydrophobic association. As shown in an experimental result, the viscosifier provided by the invention still has excellent tackifying performance when the temperature is as high as 260 DEG C, and meanwhile, the viscosifier has excellent high-temperature and high-pressure water loss performance, so that the viscosifier has extensive practical application prospect and economic benefit.

The invention relates to a hydrophobically associating polymer and mixed surfactant binary compound oil displacement system for use in tertiary oil extraction. The system mainly comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 0.1 to 0.3 percent of hydrophobically associating polymer, 0.1 to 0.6 percent of surfactant and 99.2 to 99.8 percent of water. The hydrophobically associating polymer in the system has high temperature resistance, high salt resistance and viscosity increasing capacity and can largely reduce dosage of polymer; and with high solubilizing capacity, the polymer can increase the dissolution of the surfactant in sewage, thereby increasing the use concentration of the surfactant. The oil displacement system which is dissolved by sewage from extraction can save lots of fresh water; with high viscosity increasing capacity, the system can effectively control flow rate, increase swept volume, increase oil water interface tension to 10<-3>mN / m and increase the oil extraction rate; and because of high stability and injection property, the system can be injected in large dose. According to an indoor oil displacement experiment, the binary compound oil displacement system can improve the extraction rate by over 20 percent compared with that of water displacement. The system without alkali avoids serious damage to the oil layer and corrosion and damage to oilpipes and has a great application prospect.

The invention discloses a hyperbranched hydrophobical-associating water-soluble polymer and its preparation method. The polymer is obtained through copolymerizing acrylamide, acrylic acid, a hydrophobic monomer and functional hyperbranched macromolecules. The preparation method of the polymer comprises the following steps: 1, respectively dissolving a hyperbranched polyamide-amine macro-molecular skeleton treating diethylenetriamine as a core and maleic anhydride (or acryloyl chloride or acrylic anhydride) in dimethyl sulphoxide, slowly adding the skeleton monomer solution to the maleic anhydride solution in a dropwise manner, letting in nitrogen, placing the obtained system in an icy salt bath, stopping the dropwise addition of the skeleton monomer solution when the pH value of a reaction solution reaches 4-5, and precipitating with chloroform to obtain a functionalized skeleton monomer; and 2, carrying out free radical aqueous solution polymerization of sodium acrylate, acrylamide, the hydrophobic monomer dimethylallyl-N-alkylammonium chloride and the functional skeleton monomer. The tackifier is a quadripolymer formed by polymerization of four alkene monomers, wherein the four alkene monomers are selected from a temperature-resistant salt-tolerant monomer, a hydrated monomer and an adsorptive monomer; the temperature-resistant salt-tolerant monomer is selected from an alkenyl sulfonic acid monomer; the hydrated monomer is selected from alkenyl carboxylic acid, alkenyl alkane ketone and double-bond-containing quaternary ammonium salt compounds; and the adsorptive monomer is selected from an alkenyl amide monomer. The tackifier provided by the invention can resist a high temperature of no less than 180 DEG C, is resistant to saturated salt, has remarkable tackifying effect, is low in toxicity and environmentally friendly, and can obviously improve the dehydration and wall building capability of the drilling fluid, thereby effectively reducing the dehydration.
