1 results about "Welan gum" patented technology

Welan gum is an exopolysaccharide used as a rheology modifier in industrial applications such as cement manufacturing. It is produced by fermentation of sugar by bacteria of the genus Alcaligenes. The molecule consists of repeating tetrasaccharide units with single branches of L-mannose or L-rhamnose. In solution, the gum exhibits viscosity retention at elevated temperature, and is stable in a wide pH range, in the presence of calcium ion, and with high concentration of glycols.

The application relates to the technical field of concrete materials, and particularly discloses self-compacting expansive high-strength concrete and a preparation method thereof. The self-compacting expansive high-strength concrete comprises the following components in mass fractions: 100 parts of water, 311-321 parts of cement, 30-40 parts of fly ash, 23-25 parts of an expansive agent, 410-420 parts of fine aggregate, 770-780 parts of modified coarse aggregate, 5.8-6.2 parts of a water reducing agent, and the modified coarse aggregate is prepared by the following steps: step 1), soaking recycled aggregate in a treatment liquid to obtain pretreated coarse aggregate; and step 2), heating the pretreated coarse aggregate to 95-100 DEG C and keeping the temperature for 45-50 min to obtain modified coarse aggregate; the treatment liquid is a compound of a solvent, curdlan, konjac gum, welan gum and sesbania gum. The application has the advantages of reducing the decrease of the strength of the concrete under the premise of completely replacing natural coarse aggregate with recycled coarse aggregate.
