The invention discloses a forage for livestock and poultry and especially relates to a forage for a breeding rex rabbit. The forage comprises, by weight, 4 to 12% of corn, 2 to 10% of extruded soybean, 0.5 to 2% of glucose, 1 to 8% of DDGS, 3 to 10% of wheat shorts, 8 to 20% of bran, 5 to 25% of corn bran, 1 to 8% of a mixture of rice chaff and husk, 1 to 8% of sawdust, 10 to 22% of soybean meal, 1 to 8% of rapeseed meal, 5 to 6% of a premix, 13 to 28% of clover and 1 to 8% of pine needle powder. The forage provided by the invention has good palatability, can enhance disease resistance of the breeding rex rabbit, prevents intestinal infection, reduces the incidence rate of diarrhoea and abdominal distension, increases the conception rate of a mother rex rabbit, the number of born rex rabbits in a brood, newborn litter weight of the born rex rabbits and lactation yield of the mother rex rabbit, strengthens hair follicle development of the rex rabbits to allow the rex rabbits to have dense and glossy fur and improves culture benefits.
