The invention discloses high-suspension mineral gel with low heavy metal and cristobalite. The mineral gel is prepared from, by weight, 100 parts of clay mineral, 2-8 parts of inorganic base and 0.5-2parts of sodium citrate and sodium pyrophosphate, wherein the clay mineral is selected from one or more of attapulgite clay, bentonite, sepiolite, halloysite and montmorillonite clay. The preparationmethod includes steps: grinding the clay mineral, adding inorganic base aqueous solution, mixing and extruding into sheets; covering with a film, keeping moisture to pile up for more than 10 days, adding water, and beating into emulsion; dewatering after filtering through a vibrating screen, adding water and diluted acid into a cake material to adjust pH to 3-4, and ultrasonically dispersing; adding a mixture of sodium citrate and sodium pyrophosphate, ultrasonically dispersing, adding water and alkali to adjust pH to 7-8, dewatering, drying and grinding to obtain the high-suspension mineralgel. By cristobalite removal, heavy metal removal and electric charge regulation for gel preparation in sequence, the high-suspension mineral gel is applicable to fields of medicines, food, daily chemicals and the like.
