The method comprises the steps that S1, setting and initializing a detection sensor; S2, starting a detection sensor to obtain point cloud data or image data of a target object and a surrounding environment; S3, screening acquired data by adopting a filtering algorithm; S4, comparing with a pre-stored standard model, judgingwhether a target object exists or not, if so, entering S5, and if not, returning to S2; and S5, taking any point in the space as a reference point, and establishing and outputting a three-dimensionalcoordinate of the target object. The system comprises: a detection sensor, which is used for collecting point cloud data or image data of a target object and a surrounding environment; and a data processing module used for identifying and outputting the three-dimensional coordinates of the target object. According to the scheme, the target object can be effectively recognized, so that in the subsequent carrying process, goods shifted within dozens of centimeters are carried in an assisted mode, and meanwhile collision with the goods is avoided.
