Method and system for remote delivery of retail banking services

A practical system and method for the remote distribution of financial services (e.g., home banking and bill-paying) involves distributing portable terminals to a user base. The terminals include a multi-line display, keys “pointing to” lines on the display, and additional keys. Contact is established between the terminals and a central computer operated by a service provider, preferably over a dial-up telephone line and a packet data network. Information exchange between the central computer and the terminal solicits information from the terminal user related to requested financial services (e.g., for billpaying, the user provides payee selection and amount and his bank account PIN number). The central computer then transmits a message over a conventional ATM network debiting the user's bank account in real time, and may pay the specified payees the specified amount electronically or in other ways as appropriate. Payments and transfers may be scheduled in advance or on a periodic basis. Because the central computer interacts with the user's bank as a standard POS or ATM network node, no significant software changes are required at the banks' computers. The terminal interface is extremely user-friendly and incorporates some features of standard ATM user interfaces so as to reduce new user anxiety.

Single-step electromechanical mechanical polishing on Ni-P plated discs

Beginning with a smooth ground aluminum blank with a relatively thin layer of leveled Ni—P, circumferential electropolishing/texturing is carried out to achieve a smooth oriented surface. A conductive slurry is provided between the disc and a porous texturing tape which is in contact with a conducting plate or equivalent conductor. The disc serves as the anode, and the conducting plate as the cathode, while the slurry, being conductive, functions as an electrolyte. In the presence of current, a reverse electroplating occurs so that the Ni—P dissolves to form Ni2+, or nickel ions which are carried away by the conductive slurry. The conductive slurry further supports or carries therein abrasive material so that by moving the porous texturing tape past the disc surface, the texturing tape picks up the abrasive material in the slurry and simultaneously with the reverse electroplating, provides the desired mechanical abrasion to achieve texturing of the disc surface. The abrasive material comprises diamond particles. The circumferential electropolishing/texturing polish is achieved by spinning the disc while applying the mechanical-chemical action through the slurry system to the disc surface with electric current passing through the electrically conducting interface during processing.

Tile bonding and pointing integrated mortar and its production technology

ActiveCN102424549ASolve the problem of aesthetic influenceReduce construction processCelluloseSodium Bentonite
The invention discloses tile bonding and pointing integrated mortar, which is prepared by subjecting 400 parts by weight of cement, 300 parts by weight of quartz sand, 100 parts by weight of Shuangfei Powder, 25 parts by weight of sodium bentonite, 5 parts by weight of cellulose ether, 15 parts by weight of dispersible latex powder, 2 parts by weight of a water repellent, 40 parts by weight of silicon powder, 3 parts by weight of a thixotropic lubricant, 10 parts by weight of an early strength, and a pigment metered according to a client demand to uniform stirring in a stirrer. The construction process of the tile bonding and pointing integrated mortar comprises: stirring water and cement in a water cement ratio of 0.25 in a stirring bucket into paste with a portable electric mixer, applying the pasty tile glue to the back side of a tile and filling it to the full with a spatula, conducting tiling, tearing off paper after 20min, carrying out pointing with a special circle tool in linewith the size of a tile joint, doing cleaning with a sponge, and cleaning the tile with clear water after 120min. With the mortar of the invention, tile bonding and pointing can be completed in one time. With various colors, the mortar of the invention maintains the color consistency between the underlayer and joints, thus having no influence on appearance. Also, the technology of full applying for pointing can be omitted, and cleaning becomes convenient. Thus, all procedures can be finished at one go.
