This invention belongs to the field of
biological agent technology, specifically relating to a strain of *
Trichoderma*, a biocontrol agent, a bio-
organic fertilizer, and methods and applications for controlling
plant diseases. This invention provides a strain of *
Trichoderma* P11, with accession number CCTCC NO: M 2024648. The *
Trichoderma* P11 of this invention can enhance positively correlated
disease resistance genes in plants. PnCAD , PnSN1 , PnDEFL1 The relative expression level of *Trichoderma* P11 was increased, enhancing the activity of
disease resistance-related enzymes SOD, POD, and CAT. Furthermore, *Trichoderma* P11 could damage the
cell membrane of pathogens, inhibiting their growth. *Trichoderma* P11 also exhibits good
rhizosphere colonization ability. The results of the examples show that *Trichoderma* P11 of the present invention can reduce the incidence of
root rot in
Panax notoginseng fields and can also antagonize various pathogens such as *
Pseudomonas aeruginosa*, *
Pseudomonas oryzae*, *
Geotrichum candida*, *Early
Blight of Tomato*, *
Phytophthora indicum*, *
Phytophthora capsici*, and *
Alternaria spiralis*.
