This application relates to the field of air conditioner technology and discloses a microchannel
heat exchanger and an air conditioner. The microchannel
heat exchanger includes: multiple flat tubes, two manifolds, and at least one
reversing valve. The
reversing valve includes a valve body and a valve core. The valve core is configured to slide between a first position and a second position under the pressure of a fluid. When the valve core is in the first position, it blocks the first fluid inlet, and the second fluid inlet is connected to the fluid outlet. When the valve core is in the second position, it blocks the second fluid inlet, and the first fluid inlet is connected to the fluid outlet. In this application, the
reversing valve changes the number of parallel flow paths of the flat tubes by allowing the
refrigerant to flow in different directions in the flat tubes and manifolds. When the microchannel
heat exchanger is used as an
evaporator, the number of parallel flow paths of the flat tubes can be increased step by step, reducing pressure drop and improving heat absorption. When used as a condenser, the number of parallel flow paths of the flat tubes can be decreased step by step, increasing the
refrigerant flow rate and improving heat release.
