This application relates to the field of activated carbonfiber technology, specifically disclosing a method for preparing highly adsorbent activated carbon fibers. This application uses oxidized modified viscosefiber as a precursor, which is then activated by plasma and subsequently seeded with nanocrystals to form a carbon-silicon composite intermediate. After carbonization, the silica is removed by hydrofluoric acidetching, resulting in a relatively continuous hierarchical porous structure. Plasma post-treatment is then used to adjust the surface properties of the activated carbonfiber surface and the pores. Compared to activated carbon fibers prepared using conventional phosphoric acid activation methods currently available on the market, the activated carbon fibers obtained in this application improve the masstransfer efficiency of macromolecular pollutants through their hierarchical porous structure. Furthermore, the pores, after plasma post-treatment, can fully utilize their adsorption and binding capacity for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). Therefore, the activated carbon fibers obtained in this application have a higher adsorption capacity for PAHs.

The application has the effect of shortening the time consumption of rendering large-size charts.
