The invention discloses a rolling method for preventing hot-rolled strip steel with the thickness of 4mm or less from deviating. The convexity of the strip steel is controlled to be 40-60 microns, the wedge is controlled to be smaller than or equal to 20 microns, the precision rolling temperature is 1,060-1,100 DEG C, and the finishing rolling temperature is controlled to be 890-910 DEG C; three front precision rolling machine frames F1, F2 and F3 are subjected to great rolling reduction, the rolling reduction rate is 33-56 percent, the tension of the strip steel is adjusted from conventional 5-9MPa to 8-16MPa, the rolling reduction rate of four rear machine frames F4, F5, F6 and F7 is 11-35 percent, and the tension of the strip steel is adjusted from conventional 8-13MPa to 14-23MPa. Technical parameters of a rolling process are optimized, the rolling method in which rolling force plays a leading role is changed, and the rolling method in which tension plays a leading role is innovated; the influences of non-uniform horizontal temperature, wedging and cambering in the rolling process of the strip steel are overcome by increasing the tension, the rolling method is easy to operate and has a convenient adjusting function, and the phenomenon of small specification deviation is greatly reduced, so that the success rate of small specification rolling is improved from 73 percent to 99 percent.
