Deposition of calcium-phosphate (CaP) and calcium-phosphate with bone morphogenic protein (CaP+BMP) coatings on metallic and polymeric surfaces

The invention is a medical implantable device which is coated by the method according to the invention. The surface of the substrate used for the implantable device, in the raw condition, following a cleaning regime and physiochemical pretreatments, is coated using a biomimetic process in a supersaturated calcium phosphate solution (SCPS) to obtain the desired coating coverage and morphology maintaining a ratio of calcium to phosphorus pH, as well as solution temperature plays a major role in yielding precipitation of the proper phase of CaP so that composition, morphologies, crystal structures, and solubility characteristics are optimal for the deposition process. The biomimetic coating adds the attribute of osteoconductivity to the implant device. To maximize bone growth, the implant must also induce bone growth, or possess the attribute of osteoinductivity. This attribute is acquired by the use of therapeutic agents, i.e. bone morphogenic proteins (BMP), growth factors, stem cells, etc. The preparation of the SCPS solution is slightly altered so that during the immersion of the implant in the SCPS, the therapeutic agents are co-precipitated and bonded with the CaP directly on the underlying surface of the implant device. A final dipping process into a BMP solution provides an initial burst of cellular activity. For delivering stem and/or progenitor cell, after drying the dipped solution of BMP, the cells are cultured on the surface of the implant.

Compound gas hydrate generation accelerant and preparation method thereof

The invention relates to a gas hydrate, in particular to a compound gas hydrate generation accelerant and a preparation method thereof. The accelerant is a mixed solution formed by dissolving nano dispersed particles and a gemini surfactant in water, wherein the nano dispersed particles are nano graphene particles, the purity degree (the mass fraction) of the nano dispersed particles is 99%, and the fineness of the nano dispersed particles ranges from 20 nm to 60 nm; the gemini surfactant adopts dimethylene-1,2-double (dodecyl dimethyl ammonium bromide)-C12-2-122Br-1; by taking the mixed solution as the total amount, in the prepared mixed solution, the concentration of the nano graphene particles is controlled from 0.08% to 1.2%, the concentration of the gemini surfactant is controlled from 0.03% to 0.1%, and the balance is water. The accelerant can be used to enhance the gas hydrate from the two processes of heat transmission and mass transfer in the generation process of the gas hydrate, reduces the induction time for gas hydrate generation, and improves generation efficiency of the gas hydrate; a nanofluid is more stable and has low possibility of coagulation under the compound condition of the nano dispersed particles and the gemini surfactant.

Method for continuously preparing spray strengthened aqua compound and device thereof

The invention relates to a continuous preparation method for spray strengthening hydrate. Some water is compensated in reactor so that decompressed steam enters into the reactor and water is atomized and enters into the reactor after water is compressed. The temperature in hydrate preparation process is controlled in the combination of inner cooling and outer cooling. The continuous preparation device for spray strengthening hydrate comprises air supply system, water flow atomization system and refrigeration system, reactor with partition cooling channel and chilled water circulating system. Air source is connected with buffering tank, filter, decompressed controlling valve, pressure gauge and air inlet on the reactor by valve. A vacuum pump is set between the controlling valve and the air inlet. Water source is connected with pressing pump, outer cooler, pressure gauge, thermometer and atomizing nozzle. The outer cooler is connected with the refrigeration system. Refrigerant compensation and refrigeration system and refrigerant circulating pump are connected with chilled water inlet on the reactor. The system can realize continuous and quick preparation for hydrate and shorten induction time for hydration reaction.
