Benzethonium chloride, also known as hyamine is a synthetic quaternary ammonium salt. This compound is an odorless white solid, soluble in water. It has surfactant, antiseptic, and anti-infective properties, and it is used as a topical antimicrobial agent in first aid antiseptics. It is also found in cosmetics and toiletries such as mouthwashes, anti-itch ointments, and antibacterial moist towelettes. Benzethonium chloride is also used in the food industry as a hard surface disinfectant.

The invention relates to a preparation method for low-molecular heparin originated from a new species. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) fully dissolving heparin sodium prepared from raw materials bovine lungs, ox intestines and/or goat intestines in water, and adding a benzethonium chloride solution to prepare heparin benzethonium chloride salt; (2) dissolving the heparin benzethonium chloride salt in dichloromethane, adding benzyl chloride, stirring the mixture to react, reducing the temperature and adding a sodium acetate methanol solution to prepare heparin benzyl ester; (3) dissolving the heparin benzyl ester in water, adding sodium hydroxide, reducing the temperature after reaction, adjusting the pH to neutral, adding sodium chloride, and then adding alcohol to prepare an enoxaparin sodium crude product; and (4) dissolving the enoxaparin sodium coarse product in water, and purifying and drying the mixture to obtain enoxaparin sodium. According to the preparation method provided by the invention, the condition that the low-molecular heparin can be obtained by heparin sodium prepared from bovine lungs, ox intestines and goat intestines is found for the first time, and the prepared low-molecular heparin is lower in molecular weight compared with that of existing low-molecular heparin, so that the biological activity is higher and the low-molecular heparin has a wide market application prospect.

The invention discloses a method for rapidly starting normal-temperature short-cut nitrification of municipal sewage by benzethonium chloride, and belongs to the technical field of biological sewage treatment; through primary soaking treatment on activated sludge through benzethonium chloride, AOB and NOB are inhibited to a certain extent, but the activity of the AOB can be preferentially recovered, ammonia nitrogen is not converted into nitrate nitrogen any more after ammonia nitrogen is converted into nitrite nitrogen, and short-cut nitrification is successfully realized. The method comprises the steps: inoculating activated sludge subjected to whole-course nitrification into a sequencing batch biochemical reactor, and carrying out benzethonium chloride soaking treatment on the activatedsludge after aeration is finished, wherein the benzethonium chloride concentration is 50-80 mg/L, and the soaking time is 12-24 h. The activated sludge is only soaked once, the reactor returns to normal operation, and when the nitrite accumulation rate (NAR) reaches 90% or above, normal-temperature short-cut nitrification of the municipal sewage is formally started. Short-cut nitrification is realized by a new inhibitor, and the inhibitor can quickly start normal-temperature short-cut nitrification of the municipal sewage.
