A method for in situ aqueous phase catalytic conversion of guaiacol and lignin to phenolic compounds

ActiveCN118359484BPtru catalystMethyl benzene
The application discloses a method for in-situ aqueous phase catalytic conversion of guaiacol and lignin into phenolic compounds, and belongs to the technical field of catalytic conversion for preparing phenolic compounds. The method adopts guaiacol or lignin to selectively generate phenol through HDO under the action of a Ni / MgO catalyst. In the absence of external hydrogen and under environmentally-friendly conditions, a one-pot reaction of the Ni / MgO catalyst can obtain a phenolic (phenol and methyl phenol) yield of up to 12.1 wt% from industrial lignin. The application opens up a non-noble metal catalytic strategy, realizes the conversion from renewable lignin resources to phenolic compounds in the absence of external hydrogen, and is consistent with the concept of green chemistry and sustainable development.

A method for the selective hydrogenolysis of lignin catalyzed by alumina-supported nickel and nickel-tin alloys to prepare guaiacol monomer products.

This invention discloses a method for the selective hydrogenolysis of lignin using alumina-supported nickel and nickel-tin alloy catalysts to prepare guaiacol monomers. The method employs a urea precipitation method to prepare a catalyst containing both metallic nickel and a nickel-tin alloy active phase. Organosoluble lignin is used as the raw material, and a mixture of alcohols and water is added as the solvent. The alumina-supported nickel and nickel-tin alloy catalyst prepared by the urea precipitation method is then added. The air in the reactor is replaced with an inert gas, and the pressure is increased to 1.0–3.0 MPa. The reactor is then stirred at 210–270°C for 1–6 hours, resulting in the highly selective conversion of organosoluble lignin into compounds primarily composed of guaiacol monomers. This invention features a simple catalyst preparation process, low cost, and a mild and safe lignin depolymerization reaction. The obtained guaiacol products can be used to prepare food additives or pharmaceutical intermediates and other chemicals.

Cobalt-gallium alloy catalyst for guaiacol hydrodeoxygenation to cyclohexanol and preparation method and application thereof

This invention belongs to the field of catalyst preparation technology, and provides a cobalt-gallium alloy catalyst for the hydrodeoxygenation of guaiacol to cyclohexanol, its preparation method, and its application. The preparation method includes the following steps: First, a mixed metal salt solution of cobalt and gallium sources is prepared, then carbon nanotubes are added, and the mixture is ultrasonically dispersed and refluxed. After the reaction, the catalyst is dried and reduced to obtain the catalyst CoGa / CNTs. Then, the CoGa / CNTs are mixed with an organophosphoric acid ligand solution and reacted at room temperature to obtain the organophosphonic acid ligand-modified carbon nanotube supported cobalt-gallium alloy catalyst R-PA@CoGa / CNTs. Applying the prepared catalyst R-PA@CoGa / CNTs to the hydrodeoxygenation of guaiacol to cyclohexanol achieves excellent guaiacol yield under milder reaction conditions and with a lower active metal content.

Use of guaiacol in the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of ulcerative colitis

The application discloses application of guaiacol in preparation of a drug for treating ulcerative colitis. Cell experiment results show that the guaiacol can enhance the ability of macrophages to remove apoptotic cells; animal experiment results show that the guaiacol can significantly relieve the disease of a dextran sodium sulfate (DSS)-induced ulcerative colitis mouse, and the specific performance is that the guaiacol can slow down the weight loss degree of the colitis mouse, effectively reduce the disease activity index (DAI) of the colitis mouse, significantly inhibit the shortening of the colon of the colitis mouse, the infiltration of inflammatory cells and the mucosal damage, obviously reduce the level of a pro-inflammatory factor in serum of the mouse, and increase the level of a pro-inflammatory repair factor. In conclusion, the guaiacol has definite curative effect on ulcerative colitis, has no obvious side effect, and has a good prospect of being developed into a drug for treating ulcerative colitis.

A method for preparing a bio-based polyarylate

PendingCN122302237AInterfacial reactionFuran
This application provides a method for preparing a bio-based polyarylate, belonging to the field of high-performance polymer technology. The method involves dissolving guaiacol in an alkaline aqueous solution to obtain an aqueous phase system; dissolving 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid chloride in an organic solvent to obtain an oil phase system; under stirring, the oil phase system is slowly added to the aqueous phase system, controlling the reaction temperature and time. After the interfacial reaction is completed, the mixture is separated, washed, and dried to obtain a bio-based polyarylate with a glass transition temperature of 120–180 °C, a number-average molecular weight of 30,000–80,000 g / mol, and a tensile strength of 60–90 MPa. The bio-based polyarylate prepared by this method exhibits advantages such as good stability and excellent mechanical properties.
