The present invention relates to a recombinant high density lipoprotein nanoparticle comprising cholesterol and a composition for preventing or treating Alzheimer's disease and cancer comprising the same. Specifically, the cholesterol-containing recombinant high-density lipoprotein nanoparticles of the present invention have an excellent cell introduction rate, promote the outflow of cholesterol from cells, and thus have a cancer cell killing effect, and thus can be used for the prevention or treatment of cancer.
