The invention relates to a tension-type
structured water wheel for
electricity generation devices for tides, rivers and streams under a condition without dams. The tension-type
structured water wheel forms a large-size tension-type cylinder capable of bearing larger external tension, by supporting carrying pole beam through a felloe surface of a tension-type
main bearing wheel and connecting both ends of the carrying pole beam with a middle shaft by using inhaul cables. The large-size tension-type cylinder is connected with a flower-drum shaft sleeve motor for
electricity generation; and the integral tension-type
structured water wheel is borne by a floating
pier to float on a water surface and then drives a water baffle plate arranged outside the inhaul cable type cylinder to move along a
water flow direction when water flows, so as to drive an
electric generator to generate
electric energy. The tension-type structured
water wheel has the characteristics that dams do not need to be constructed, a tension-type structured main body is applied, and the
water wheel is suitable for low-flow rate environments like tidal streams, the rivers, and the like, and adaptive to destructive climate conditions due to small windward and wave-ward area and has the advantages of capability of industrialized production, transportation and installation, convenience for construction and low cost.
