The method comprises the following steps: determining at least one mobile terminal serving as a positioning sensor terminal in a cellular network by cellular network equipment; instructing the positioning sensor terminals by an air interface message to search for mobile terminals to be positioned in a near-field communication mode; and when a measurement report reported by any positioning sensor terminal is received, positioning the mobile terminals to be positioned identified by identification information according to a position of the positioning sensor terminal and the identification information of the mobile terminals to be positioned searched by the positioning sensor terminal in the measurement report, or transmitting the identification information and position information of the determined positioning sensor terminal to the mobile terminals to be positioned in order that the mobile terminals to be positioned are positively positioned.
