This invention provides a
rotary kiln head device and sealing method, including a
kiln head cylinder
assembly, a sealing device, a
kiln head end face
assembly, and a feed cylinder. The
kiln head end face
assembly is fixedly connected to the feed cylinder, and the kiln head cylinder assembly and the kiln head end face assembly are connected by the sealing device. The sealing device includes a labyrinth-type sealing module, a
graphite ring sealing module, and a multi-layer composite
fish scale sealing module. This invention eliminates the need for a kiln head hood, resulting in a simple device structure. Based on this, a triple seal is employed: a labyrinth-type seal, a
graphite ring seal, and a multi-layer composite
fish scale seal. The
labyrinth seal effectively prevents materials,
fly ash, and high-temperature
flue gas from entering the sealing gaps and corroding the
graphite ring. The graphite ring seal prevents internal high-temperature
flue gas from escaping and external air from entering, maintaining stable negative pressure at the kiln head. The multi-layer composite
fish scale seal ensures that the feed cylinder and the kiln head end face assembly can rotate smoothly relative to the kiln head cylinder assembly during operation, while simultaneously enhancing the sealing performance and stability.
