The invention relates to an angle searching method based on multi-beam signals and belongs to the active radar angle searching technology field. According to the method, a transmit-receivable separation characteristic of a phased array antenna is utilized, on the condition that a directional diagram of an emission antenna is not changed, multi-beam digital signal processing on reception signals is carried out, so an equivalent wave beam width of a reception antenna is improved, and a searching wave position setting number is reduced; a to-be-searched spatial domain is divided into multiple zones or wave positions, acquired multi-beams are utilized for target searching, stay at each wave position for a time segment is carried out in order, that the wave positions having targets can be captured with relatively high probability is guaranteed. Through the method, an instantaneous reception multi-beam directional diagram is formed by utilizing phased array wave beam rapid agility and the digital multi-beam formation technology, reception-direction pattern main lobe coverage is formed at a wave beam overlapping portion during original single wave beam searching, so reception-direction pattern loss is greatly reduced, reception wave beam width is equivalently broadened, and searching performance of a seeker is improved.
