The invention discloses a testing device of coagulated
frost depth and deformation non-uniformity of a surface of a
porous asphalt mixture and a method thereof. The testing device comprises a cylindercontainer made of
organic glass, an atomizer, a temperature-
humidity controller, a strain tester and a CT
scanner. The method comprises the following steps: firstly scanning a
porous asphalt mixtureMarshall specimen by using the CT
scanner and reconstructing to obtain a specimen three-dimensional model, then pasting a plurality of resistance strain gages on the side of the specimen along a circumferential direction, putting the specimen in the cylinder container and putting the cylinder container into a refrigerator, then introducing
water vapor atomized by the atomizer, enabling the
humidity in the cylinder container to be stabilized at 96%-98% by using the temperature-
humidity controller, collecting readings of the resistance strain gages by using the strain tester, calculating non-uniformity coefficient and evaluating the deformation non-uniformity of the
porous asphalt mixture, finally scanning the specimen again and reconstructing a model, and measuring the coagulated
frost depth by using Boolean calculation. The testing method and the device thereof are capable of quantitatively evaluating the coagulated
frost depth and the deformation non-uniformity of the surface of the porous
asphalt mixture.
