The method comprises the steps of obtaining the monitoring video and a three-dimensional background model and video mesh information which are pre-configured and correspond to a collection scene of the monitoring video, wherein the video mesh information comprises sizes of image areas in video images of the monitoring video and area coordinates of the image areas in the three-dimensional background model; segmenting the video images in the monitoring video into a plurality of image areas of corresponding sizes according to the video mesh information and adjusting the image areas according to the area coordinates of the image areas in the three-dimensional background model contained in the video mesh information; and superposing the adjusted image areas to the corresponding coordinate areas in the three-dimensional background model. According to the embodiment of the invention, the monitoring video images and the three-dimensional background model can be deeply integrated and the three-dimensional displaying effect of the monitoring video can be improved.
