The invention discloses a production method of soft vegetable leather. The production method comprises the following steps: S1, rinsing; S2, surface
dyeing; S3, retanning and neutralizing: adding 1-3WT% of
sodium formate and 1-3WT% of neutralizing
tannin at the liquor ratio of 140-160% and the temperature of 36-38 DEG C, rotating for 28-32 minutes under the condition of 10-14 revolutions / min, adding 0.4-0.6 WT% of baking soda, rotating for 18-22 minutes, adding 1-3WT% of replacement
tannin and 0.8-1.2 WT% of sulfitation cattle
hoof oil, rotating for 75-85 minutes, stopping the drum overnight, controlling the PH to be 4-5, and completely neutralizing; S4, filling: adding 3-5WT% of a dicyandiamide resin tanning agent, 3-5WT% of
melamine resin, 8-12WT% of quebracho extract and 1-4WT% of a composite tanning agent at the
liquid ratio of 48-52% and the temperature of 38-42 DEG C, rotating for 35-45 minutes, adding 6-10WT% of
acrylic resin, 6-8WT% of tara
tannin and 0.8-1.2 WT% of an
electrolyte-resistant fat liquor, rotating for 50-70 minutes, adding 5-7WT% of
schizonepeta bark glue and 1-3WT% of dispersed tannin, continuously rotating for 110-130 minutes, adding 1-3WT% of composite dye, and rotating for 50-70 minutes; S5, performing fat liquoring; S6, performing color fixation; and S7, finishing and
drying. Compared with the prior art, the method has the following advantages: 1, the requirement on wet blue leather is low; 2, the use amount of the vegetable tanning agent is reduced; and 3, the leather body is lifted.
