The invention relates to a method and a device for smelting iron by using a pure-oxygen and hydrogen-rich gas, which belong to the technical field of ironmaking and energy sources. The process for smelting iron by using a pure-oxygen and hydrogen-rich gas comprises the steps of: performing in-parallel coupling operation of coal carbonization, sintering, pelletizing and an iron-fining furnace; conveying and charging hot coke, agglomerate and pellets to the oxygen iron-fining furnace by conveying equipment and charging equipment at high temperature without cooling; and arranging an oxygen tuyere and a gas injection facility at the lower part of the furnace for blowing in oxygen and coke oven gas at a certain temperature towards the furnace to achieve the aims of energy conservation and emission reduction. The device comprises a raw material system, a stock gas system, a coke oven gas injection system, a dust injection system, a slag dry-method pelletizing and afterheat recovery system and an oxygen system. The method and the device have the advantages that: high-temperature furnace charges are adopted to enter the furnace directly, so that the investments of cooling equipment are saved, the layout is more compact, and the land resources and investments are saved; and the pure-oxygen and hydrogen-rich gas injection technology is adopted to achieve the effects of cleaner production, high efficiency, energy conservation, energy conservation and emission reduction.
