The preparation method is characterized in that: one or more lactobacillus planetaria are prepared into a single or composite live bacterium preparation, namely liquid bacterium and dry powdered bacterium, through a set of practical fermentation culture process. The quality requirements on the product are that: the liquid bacterium has a viable count CFU which is more than 108 / ml and is a transparent light yellow liquid of which the pH value is between 2.5 and 4.5; and the dry powdered bacterium has a viable count CFU which is more than 108 / g and is powder which can pass a 60-mesh sieve in 100 percent. When a piglet has bacterial diarrhea during a post-weaning period or other periods, 0.01 to 2 percent of liquid bacterium is added into the drinking water for the piglet and 0.01 to 2 percent of powdered bacterium is added into a feed for the piglet, wherein the dosage is increased or decreased according to the severity of the symptom and effective live bacterium content of the product. Bacterial diarrhea and diarrhoea caused by maldigestion can be effectively relieved or treated by feeding the piglet with the water and the feed.
