The invention discloses an
infrared detection-based method of solving a problem that an electric car space is occupied, and relates to the technical field of electric automobiles. The method includesthe following steps: an
infrared range finding probe is electrically connected to the inside of a charging
pile main body, and an alarm is also electrically connected inside the charging
pile main body; in a general state, an indicating lamp and a screen stay in standby state saving
electric energy, the
infrared range finding probe stays in a low
power consumption silent state; if the infrared
range finding probe detects a vehicle, the indicating lamp and the screen brighten and begin to work; if the infrared range finding probe detects that a vehicle distance no longer changes, the indicatinglamp and the screen
flicker and the alarm gives an alarm; if a coming vehicle is a
fuel oil vehicle, the alarm give an alarm continuously to remind a vehicle owner of not occupying an electric car space; and if the coming vehicle is an electric car, a worker pulls off a charging gun and inserts the charging gun into the electric car, charging is started and an alarming
signal stops. In this way,an active and on-site unattended management mode for a charging
pile is achieved, the management cost is reduced, the
management efficiency is increased, and management casualties are avoided.
