Agile digital communication network with rapid rerouting

An agile digital communications network has a number of routers that serve as nodes in a mesh network communicating between a user device (e.g., computer, server, etc.) and a target device (e.g., disc storage cabinets, tape, jukebox, etc.). The routers operate on an open shortest path first protocol, each router having two or more interfaces or links to other routers. When a link connected to a router is down and is in the shortest path to another router identified in a communication packet, the packet is forwarded to the identified router on a precalculated alternate route that does not use the unavailable link. IP tunneling assures that routing loops do not occur and send the packet back to the router with the unavailable link because it would have been in the shortest path of an intermediate router. A tunneling technique is provided that maximizes the levels of encapsulation needed at two, regardless of the size or configuration of the network. An unavailable link is not broadcast immediately throughout the network, giving the link an opportunity to be restored before all of the routers are called on to recalculate the shortest paths and alternate paths. During a short interval following the discovery of an unavailable link, then, a router connected to that link is in a state identified as the Use Alternate Path state, and the link is repeatedly checked for availability. Each router calculates and stores the alternative paths to each other router after first calculating the shortest path to each other router. The alternate paths are pulled up and used when an unavailable link is detected. Dijkstra's algorithm is used to calculate the shortest paths. A new algorithm called the iterative dynamic Dijkstra's algorithm is used to calculate the alternative routes.

Method for operating a radar system

In a method for operating a radar system, the object is to determine by simple means and at low cost the distance and/or the radial velocity of at least one target object with high resolution. For this purpose, in each measuring phase of the measurement process in the "pulse FMCW radar system", switchover between a transmission mode and a receiving mode is effected a multiple number of times and at short intervals of time. In the transmission mode, all receiving units of the radar system are switched off, while a pulse-shaped (frequency-modulated) transmission signal with time-successive transmission pulses having a specific pulse-on time and a specific carrier frequency is emitted from at least one transmitter unit of the radar system. In receiving mode, all transmitter units are switched off in the pulse-off times of the transmission pulses, while from at least one receiver unit all reflection signals originating from the last emitted transmission pulse are detected as received signal from the entire observation range before emission of the next transmission pulse. The distance and/or the radial velocity of the reflection objects is determined indirectly by the signal processing unit of the radar system by evaluation of the frequency difference and/or phase difference between the transmission signal and the received signal.

The invention relates to a target detection method based on high resolution optical satellite remote sensing images, and a system thereof. The target detection method based on high resolution opticalsatellite remote sensing images includes the steps: obtaining a marked target positive sample and a marked background negative sample to form a training sample; for the training sample, extracting a plurality of different weak characteristic channels, and according to the plurality of different weak channels, obtaining a candidate region; obtaining the context scene of the candidate region, performing characteristic extraction on the candidate region and the context scene of the candidate region, and fusing the extracted characteristics to form the characteristics of the candidate region; training the training sample, and obtaining a classifier; classifying the characteristics of the candidate region by means of the classifier, and obtaining a target region including the target; and performing duplicate removal on the target region to obtain a detection target. The target detection method based on high resolution optical satellite remote sensing images realizes target detection on remote sensing images with enlarged formats, optimizes the targets with very short interval and the target detection effect with uncommon length breadth ratio.

Touch sense vibration control system and method of intelligent terminal

The invention discloses a touch sense vibration control system and a method of an intelligent terminal. The system comprises a command generator, a filter, a touch sense driver and a linear resonance actuator. The command generator generates an initial command signal according to an input signal. The filter filters the initial command signal so as to allow the amplitude of a predetermined number of initial pulse of the filtered command signal to be greater than a set threshold and phase positions of a predetermined number of pulse at the end to be reversed; and the touch sense driver generates a driving signal for driving the actuator to vibrate according to the filtered command signal. According to the invention, the filter carries out filtering processing on the initial command signal generated by the command generator, so when follow-up generated driving signals are used for driving the actuator to vibrate, the actuator can rapidly make moving responses and braking responses. Thus, overlapping degree of front and back vibration events at a quite short interval in the time dimension is weakened; the degree of distinction of the front and back vibration events in the time dimension is increased; and expected vibration effects are ensured.

Method and apparatus for providing wireless communication system synchronization

When insufficient traffic is present in the network to maintain synchronization in this manner, other methods must be used. One approach involves making direct measurements of the timing between base stations. This is accomplished in one of two ways. The base may interrupt its transmissions on all sectors for a short interval during which it determines the time of arrival of signals from other base stations. Given knowledge of the other base station locations, time errors relative to all other base stations may be derived. Alternatively, the base may send a short signal at high power in the mobile transmit band. This time-of-arrival of this signal is measured by the surrounding base stations and the time errors between pairs of base stations are computed. In some cases, a base station may be isolated sufficiently from all other base stations in the network such that direct base-to-base measurement is not viable. In this case, a fixed mobile is placed at a location in the handoff region between the isolated cell and another cell in the network. The fixed mobile either performs measurements of base station pilots on command of the base and reports the timing information, or sends a burst transmission at a specified time and power level to be measured by the base stations.

Speed control method in wireless streaming media transmission

The invention relates to wireless multimedia communication. In order to alleviate transmission quality shaking caused by an unreliable wireless channel when streaming media is transmitted in the wireless environment, further improve the transmission quality and increase the utilization ratio of the wireless channel. The technical scheme adopted by the invention is as follows: compared with a traditional speed control method, a speed control method in wireless streaming media transmission is characterized by comprising the following steps: obtaining the packet loss rate and business data passing rate parameters by smoothing treatment in a shorter interval; adjusting the streaming media transmission speed based on the parameters and an improved additive increase and multiplicative decrease algorithm, when the channel is in underload, determining the speed amplification by a variable constant additive factor and a constant additive factor determined by the packet loss, and when the channel is in overload, determining the speed reduction range by a variable constant multiplicative factor and a constant reductive factor determined by the packet loss; and setting a speed switching threshold, regarding the speed switching to be effective only when the difference between the current predicting speed and the previous predicting speed exceeds the set threshold. The speed control method in the wireless streaming media transmission is mainly applied to wireless multimedia communication.
