The method comprises the following steps: acquiring an air interface occupation time ratio of a station which is in a service proceeding state; and adjusting an uplink data transmission threshold of the station according to the air interface occupation time ratio of the station, wherein the air interface occupation time ratio of the station is a ratio of air interface occupation time of the station to air interface time, and the air interface occupation time of the station is a ratio of a volume of data transmitted by the station to an air interface data transmission rate of the station within the air interface time. Through adoption of the contention adjusting method and device and the system, excessive occupation of stations with weak demands by stations with strong demands can be avoided.
