The invention relates to a valve unit (86) for an electro-pneumatic
brake control device (14) for controlling a
vehicle brake, wherein the valve unit (86) can be or is connected to a control input (82) of an air-quantity-boosting valve device (64) and is designed for the controllable
aeration and deaeration of said valve device (64) via its control input (82). A double-armature
solenoid valve (134) is provided, having two
magnet armatures (primary armature 138 and secondary armature 140) which are arranged in a common armature guide arrangement (136) and which are in each case loaded by a spring (142, 144) and which can be actuated by means of a common
magnet coil (146). The primary armature serves as a switching element for a deaeration valve (148) and the secondary armature serves as a switching element for an
aeration valve (150). When the
magnet coil is not supplied with current, the primary armature (138) and the secondary armature (140) are situated in their basic position which is defined by the spring loading and in which
aeration valve (150) blocks an aeration and the deaeration valve (148) activates a deaeration. When a first magnet current is fed in so as to flow through the
magnet coil, the primary armature (138) is moved into a switching position, while the secondary armature (140) remains in the spring-loaded basic position. Here, the aeration valve blocks the aeration and the deaeration valve blocks the deaeration. When a second magnet current, which is greater than the first magnet current, is fed in so as to flow through the
magnet coil, both the primary armature and also the secondary armature are moved into their switching positions determined by the magnet force, so that the aeration valve activates the aeration and the deaeration valve blocks the deaeration.
