Low-magnetic-susceptibility beta-type Zr-Nb-Ta series alloy and preparation method thereof

The invention provides a low-magnetic-susceptibility beta-type Zr-Nb-Ta series alloy which comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 10% of Nb, 10% to 20% of Ta, and the balance Zr and inevitable impurities, wherein the weight percentage of Zr is higher than 50% and the optimal weight percentage of Ta is 15%. The low-magnetic-susceptibility beta-type Zr-Nb-Ta series alloy is better matched with the elasticity modulus of natural bone and lower in magnetic susceptibility. The invention further provides a preparation method of the low-magnetic-susceptibility beta-type Zr-Nb-Ta series alloy. According to the preparation method, the content of Nb is set as a critical point of the transformation from the alpha phase to the beta phase; on the above basis, Ta is added as an alloying element; accordingly, metastable beta-Zr can be obtained at room temperature; meanwhile, the solution strengthening effect can be achieved; the shaping and processing properties of the low-magnetic-susceptibility beta-type Zr-Nb-Ta series alloy can be prevented from being influenced when the strength of the low-magnetic-susceptibility beta-type Zr-Nb-Ta series alloy is improved; and furthermore, the corrosion resistance of the low-magnetic-susceptibility beta-type Zr-Nb-Ta series alloy can be enhanced.
