The invention discloses a method for producing 
mushroom sticks by using 
bark waste as a main material. In the method, the 
bark waste is used as a culture medium. The method comprises the steps of 
fermentation pretreatment of raw materials and production of the 
mushroom sticks, and specifically comprises the following steps of: crushing the 
bark waste, and adding 
urea so that the carbon-
nitrogen ratio is (25-30): 1; stirring with water containing a 
chlorine dioxide 
disinfectant, piling, and fermenting; adding 15 to 36 weight parts of mixed 
sawdust, 10 to 12 weight parts of 
bran and 1 to 2 weight parts of 
gypsum into the fermented material containing 50 to 70 weight parts of bark waste; and stirring with water, bagging, sterilizing, and inoculating 
mushroom strains. By the method, effective utilization of the bark waste is realized, environmental 
pollution is reduced, and an important high-quality 
nitrogen source required by growth 
nutrition of mushroom is formed. Compared with the 
sawdust of the conventional culture medium, by using the method, the cost is saved, recycle of the waste is realized and the cultivation benefits are improved.
