This invention relates to a method of enhancing the adhesion of a silicone containing adhesive formulation. The method comprises mixing 1 to 99.9 wt. % of a silicone-containing adhesive formulation and 0.1 to 50 wt. % antiperspirant compound to form a composition. The composition is then applied onto a surface and allowed to cure. The invention also relates to a composition comprising 1 to 99.9 wt. % of a silicone-containing adhesive formulation and 0.1 to 50 wt. % antiperspirant salt.
