A CMOS device fabricated in a silicon-on-insulator structure and including circuitry and methods in a first embodiment dynamically shifts the threshold voltage of the CMOS device in a receiver to provide improved noise margin and in a second embodiment dynamically matches the threshold voltages in a differential amplifier to correct for manufacturing offset. To dynamically shift the threshold voltage for noise immunity, the back gate or bulk nodes of the devices is shifted through two similar circuits comprised of npn inverters with clamping devices. The back gate of the n device is biased at 0 volts for the maximum Vth and is biased at +1 threshold for the minimum Vth of the device. Only the back gate of the p device is biased at Vdd for the maximum Vth of the device and is biased at 1 Vth below Vdd for the minimum Vth of the device. The Vth of the n device and the p device should be less than the forward bias of the respective source volt junctions to prevent unwanted bipolar currents. By driving the back gates in opposite direction and in phase with the input to the receiver circuit, the threshold voltage of the receiver is moved away from ground (GND) when the input is at a logical "0" and way from Vdd when the input is at a logical "1" which raises the noise immunity of the receiver and speeds the response of the receiver to a desired signal To dynamically match a differential pair for offset correction, a feedback circuit performs a Fast Fourier Transformer analysis of the output signal to determine the presence of even harmonics. A feedback voltage is generated representative of the even harmonics and applied to the back bias contacts of the CMOS devices to correct the effects of the threshold mismatch in the differential pair.

The boosting circuit is used for boosting first input voltage according to first control signals, the voltage transmission circuit comprises a first NMOS (N-metal oxide semiconductor) tube, a source electrode of the first NMOS tube is connected with the boosting circuit, a grid of the NMOS tube is connected with the control circuit, and a drain of the NMOS tube serves as a first output end of the charge pump. The control circuit is used for controlling on and off of the first NMOS tube, and the first NMOS tube outputs the first input voltage after being boosted when being on and comprises a P-shaped substrate. The P-shaped substrate comprises an N-shaped trap area, the N-shaped trap area comprises a P-shaped trap area, the P-shaped trap area comprise an N-shaped doped source electrode area and a drain area, and the P-shaped substrate and the N-shaped trap area of the first NMOS tube are respectively connected with the source electrode area. By the charge pump, an MOS (metal oxide semiconductor) is protected from breakdown, reliability of the circuit is improved, lining deviation effect of the MOS tube is eliminated, and transmission efficiency of the charge pump is improved.

A sensor device comprising a magnetic material having nonlinear magnetic properties within an ambient magnetic flux. The device includes a signal conductor carrying a compound applied electric signal having two frequencies f1 and f2 and coupled to the magnetic material with the ambient magnetic flux to produce a resulting signal. A primary conductor carries a primary current coupled to the magnetic material having nonlinear magnetic properties to change the magnetic flux of the magnetic material and produce the resulting signal. The magnetic material may be open ended or in the shape of a toroid. In the latter case, the device further includes a primary conductor for carrying a primary current coupled to the magnetic material having nonlinear magnetic properties to change the magnetic flux of the magnetic material and produce the resulting signal. The primary and signal conductors are preferably configured as windings on the toroid. When the applied compound electrical signal having two frequencies is a voltage signal the resulting signal is current and when the signal is a current signal, the resulting signal is a voltage. An electrical circuit is used for detecting the resulting signal at frequencies f1=f2 or f1−f2 using a demodulation of the signal to thereby create a low frequency signal f3 related to the ambient magnetic flux magnitude and phase or polarity.
