Multiple azimuth control of vertical hydraulic fractures in unconsolidated and weakly cemented sediments

The invention is a method and apparatus for initiating multiple azimuth controlled vertical hydraulic fractures in unconsolidated and weakly cemented sediments from a single bore hole to control the fracture initiation and propagation of hydraulic fractures at differing azimuths. The multiple azimuth vertical fractures enable greater yield and increased recovery of petroleum fluids from the formation. An injection casing with multiple fracture initiation sections is inserted and grouted into a bore hole. A fracture fluid carrying a proppant is injected into the injection casing and opens fracture initiation sections to dilate the formation in a direction orthogonal to the first fracture azimuth plane. Following completion of the first fracture injection, the fracture fluid is injected into the injection casing and opens a set of second and subsequent fracture initiation sections dilating the formation and initiating and propagating a second and subsequent vertical hydraulic fractures at different azimuths to the first and subsequent earlier installed fractures. The injection casing initiation sections remains open after fracturing providing direct hydraulic connection between the production well bore, the permeable proppant filled fractures and the formation.

Under the action of hydraulic pressure, an offset mechanism shifts, a universal shaft is inclined, and a hydraulic telescopic block is dynamically adjustable, so that the variable universal shaft is kept at a certain angle during drilling. Mud drives a generator to generate power for providing energy to the hydraulic pump, a whole hydraulic system adopts servo control, and the guide mechanism has the advantages of systematic flexibility, fine stress, accuracy in control of well deflection positions and fine borehole quality.

The invention discloses a variable pitch system for an offshore high-power wind driven generator group and a control method for the variable pitch system. The system comprises independent variable pitch driving systems on each blade, a variable pitch control system, a limit switch, an angular coder and a sliding ring, wherein the variable pitch driving systems are arranged in a hub on the front part of a cabin; the communication and the motive power of the variable pitch driving systems are realized through the sliding ring connected with the main control system in the cabin; and the variable pitch control system is used for allocating instructions from the main control system in the cabin to drivers and feeding back related signals detected by the angular coder, a rotation coder, the limit switch and a blade root sensor to the main control system in real time. In the variable pitch system, the force bearing acceleration sensor is arranged at a blade root and is used for detecting different applied forces of blades at different positions and feeding back to the variable pitch control system, and the variable pitch control system is used for sending a corresponding instruction to the driving systems, so that the size of a pitch angle is separately corrected, and the variable pitch system is completely independent.

Flexible direct-drive type steering rack

The invention relates to a flexible direct-drive type steering rack, which uses a flexible beam to enable a structure to be flexible. Left and right lateral racks easily do relative nodding movement, so as to be applicable to a triangular pit with a larger rail. The structure is flexible so that a series of suspension can be simplified to a very thin layer of rubber cushion, and the production cost is reduced; an elasticity transmission device is elastically suspended through a permanent magnet motor, so that the torque can be transmitted, the transmission efficiency can be improved, and the weight of a transmission mechanism can be reduced; a traction force and a braking force can be directly transmitted to a car body instead of the structure of the steering rack, and the stress condition of the structure of the steering rack is optimized; meanwhile, the length of a traction rod is not limited by the structure, so that the traction rod can be longer, the secondary addition rigidity brought by the traction rod can be reduced, and the riding comfort degree of a vehicle can be improved. A motor is suspended between wheel pairs, so that a shaft distance can be reduced. Therefore, the steering rack not only can have higher critical speed through a smaller curve, but also has good submissiveness on route irregularity.

Improved protection systems for CIGS-based microelectronic devices of the type incorporating electric conductor(s) such as an electronic collection grid. In one aspect, the present invention relates to a photovoltaic device having a light incident surface and a backside surface. The device includes a chalcogenide-containing photovoltaic layer comprising at least one of copper, indium and/or gallium. A transparent conductive layer is interposed between the photovoltaic layer and the light incident surface, wherein the transparent conductive layer is electrically coupled to the photovoltaic layer. An electronic collection grid is electrically coupled to the transparent conductive layer and overlying at least a portion of the transparent conductive layer. An elastomeric structure having a light incident surface, said structure overlying at least portions of the electronic collection grid and the transparent conductive layer in a manner such that the light incident surface of the elastomeric structure is spaced apart from a major portion of the conductor, and wherein the elastomeric structure comprises an elastomeric siloxane polymer having a WVTR of at least 0.1 g/m2-day. An optional protective barrier overlies the elastomeric structure. The protection systems of the invention incorporate elastomers with water vapor transmission rates that are atypically high in the context of CIGS-based devices.
