Traditional Chinese medicine composition for treating dry mouth of Sjogren's syndrome and preparation method thereof

This invention belongs to the field of traditional Chinese medicine preparation technology, specifically relating to a traditional Chinese medicine composition for treating dry mouth in Sjögren's syndrome and its preparation method. The traditional Chinese medicine composition includes the following raw materials in parts by weight: 10g Rehmannia glutinosa, 9g Scrophularia ningpoensis, 10g Ophiopogon japonicus, 10g Fagopyrum dibotrys, 10g Phragmites communis, 6g Amomum villosum, and 3g Bletilla striata. Depending on clinical diagnosis, other herbs such as Cornus officinalis, Trichosanthes kirilowii, Lophatherum gracile, Paeonia suffruticosa, and Poria cocos may be selectively added. The preparation method includes two decoctions, filtration, and combining the filtrates. It is derived from the Kidney-Nourishing, Heat-Clearing, and Yin-Nourishing Decoction, retaining the core of the Fluid-Increasing Decoction, and adding three lung / stomach meridian-invigorating herbs: Fagopyrum dibotrys, Phragmites communis, and Bletilla striata. The core treatment principle is to nourish yin and generate fluids, clear heat and remove blood stasis, promote tissue regeneration and wound healing, and harmonize the spleen and stomach. Clinical observation shows that it can significantly reduce the VAS score for dry mouth in patients with Sjögren's syndrome, increase static salivary flow rate, and promote the recovery of oral mucosal ulcers and angular cheilitis. It has good safety and can be taken orally for overall conditioning or used as a mouthwash to directly target the affected area.

Use of a proanthocyanidin for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of sjogren's syndrome

ActiveCN122097343BAntiendomysial antibodiesAutoantibody
This invention discloses the application of geraniol in the preparation of a drug for treating Sjögren's syndrome. In vivo experiments using a NOD mouse model of Sjögren's syndrome demonstrated that geraniol treatment significantly improved salivary secretion disorders and reduced abnormally high water intake in the mice; significantly reduced lymphocyte infiltration in salivary gland tissue, improved glandular pathological damage, downregulated the levels of characteristic autoantibodies (Anti-SSA / Ro and Anti-SSB / La) in serum, upregulated the expression levels of AQP5 and AR, and reduced organ indices in salivary glands, spleen, and thymus tissue, comprehensively improving dry mouth symptoms in mice. In vitro experiments also showed that geraniol treatment upregulated the expression levels of AQP5 and AR. Therefore, this invention provides the application of geraniol in the preparation of a drug for treating Sjögren's syndrome, which has the advantages of significant efficacy and addressing both the symptoms and root cause, and possesses good clinical application prospects.

Use of a proanthocyanidin for the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of sjogren's syndrome

The application discloses application of dihydroeugenol in preparation of a medicine for treating Sjogren's syndrome. Through in-vivo experiments of a Sjogren's syndrome model of NOD mice, it is proved that after dihydroeugenol treatment, the saliva secretion disorder of the Sjogren's syndrome model mice can be significantly improved, the abnormally increased water consumption can be reduced, the lymphocyte infiltration of the salivary gland tissue can be significantly reduced, the pathological damage of the gland can be improved, the level of the characteristic autoantibody (Anti-SSA / Ro and Anti-SSB / La) in serum can be lowered, the expression level of AQP5 and AR can be raised, the organ index of the salivary gland, spleen and thymus tissue can be reduced, and the dry mouth symptom of the mice is comprehensively improved. In-vitro experiments also show that after dihydroeugenol treatment, the expression level of AQP5 and AR can be raised. Therefore, the application of dihydroeugenol in preparation of the medicine for treating Sjogren's syndrome has the advantages of significant curative effect, treating both the symptoms and the root cause, and good clinical application prospect.
