parasitic plant tea. The tea is made of parasitic Chinese starjasmine stem, parasitic
loranthus, parasitic rabdosia neruosa, parasitic raisin tree seed, and parasitic lichee. The form and species of tea are enriched. Chinese starjasmine stem has the functions of dispelling wind, removing dampness, freeing the collaterals, relieving pain, clearing heat, cooling the blood, removing
toxicity, and eliminating swelling; the parasitic
loranthus has the functions of tonifying the
liver and kidney, strengthening the muscles and bones, dispelling
rheumatism, and preventing
miscarriage, and is mainly used to treat symptoms of sour and pains in
waist and knee,
weakness in bones and muscles, slim limbs, and numbness and pains caused by
rheumatism; the rabdosia neruosa has the functions of clearing heat, removing
toxicity, eliminating swelling, relieving pains, promoting
appetite, and helping
digestion; the raisin tree seed has the functions of activating blood, dissipating stasis, removing dampness, and calming panting; and the lichee has the functions of refreshing, reinforcing the intelligence, and boosting qi. The parasitic plants have the similar functions and effects as those of the corresponding hosts, and are made into tea for convenient drinking. The tea has a mellow and thick taste, is capable of freeing the collaterals obstructed by
blood stasis and qi, and can relieve heart and
cerebral vessel sclerosis to a certain extent.
