Strigolactones are a group of chemical compounds produced by a plant's roots. Due to their mechanism of action, these molecules have been classified as plant hormones or phytohormones. So far, strigolactones have been identified to be responsible for three different physiological processes: First, they promote the germination of parasitic organisms that grow in the host plant's roots, such as Striga lutea and other plants of the genus Striga. Second, strigolactones are fundamental for the recognition of the plant by symbiotic fungi, especially arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, because they establish a mutualistic association with these plants, and provide phosphate and other soil nutrients. Third, strigolactones have been identified as branching inhibition hormones in plants; when present, these compounds prevent excess bud growing in stem terminals, stopping the branching mechanism in plants.

The invention discloses a drought-enduring seed coating agent of oilseed rape. The drought-enduring seed coating agent of the oilseed rape is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage bymass: 20.0-30.0% of ammonium polyacrylate, 6.0-10.0% of potassium acrylate, 0.05-0.5% of abscisic acid (ABA), 0.05-0.5% of strigolactone, 1.0-5.0% of chitosan, 3.0-5.0% of trehalose, 0.5-1.5% of cross-linking agent (vulcanizing agent S-80), 3.0-5.0% of sodium dodecyl sulfate, 10.0-20.0% of starch and 22.5-56.4% of distilled water. The coating agent is reasonable in formula and convenient to use and can improve the drought resistance of a whole growth period of the oilseed rape furthest; meanwhile, due to the fact that an induction factor special for the oilseed rape adversities resistance isadded into a preparation, the resistance of the oilseed rape to drought stress can be effectively induced, expression of corresponding drought resistance genes is activated, and the drought resistanceof the whole growth period of the oilseed rape is promoted; therefore, compared with ordinary seed drought-enduring coating agents, the preparation has the advantages that action is direct, the yieldimprovement effect is significant, an economic coefficient is high, the effect is durable, and the like.

Method for promoting single-needle algae accumulated grease by nitrogen deficiency combined with strigolactones

The invention discloses a method for promoting single-needle algae accumulated grease by nitrogen deficiency combined with strigolactones. Single-needle algae is cultivated through two stages. The method for promoting the single-needle algae accumulated grease by the nitrogen deficiency combined with the strigolactones comprises the following steps that firstly glucose is used as an organic carbonsource to heterotrophically cultivate the single-needle algae to a logarithmic phase later period to collect algae cells; then autotrophy anazotic BG-11 is used as an inducing culture medium of a second stage to renewedly suspend the algae cells to be used as inducing algae liquid; 1mmol/L strigolactones (SLs) mother solutions are prepared by acetone, the strigolactones (SLs) mother solutions areadded into the inducing algae liquid to dilute the strigolactones (SLs) mother solutions to the concentration of 1[mu]mol/L, and the algae liquid is placed in a shaking table for lighting cultivating; and the algae cells cultivated to a stable phase are enriched by a centrifugal separation method, grease is extracted, and methyl esterification is carried out to prepare biodiesel. The method for promoting the single-needle algae accumulated grease by the nitrogen deficiency combined with the strigolactones is simple and practicable, can greatly shorten the cultivated time of the oil-producingsingle-needle algae, obviously increases the grease yield, and thus, greatly improves the efficiency of microalgae for producing the biodiesel.

The invention relates to the technical field of plant genetic engineering, and in particular relates to an ornithogalum thyrsoides dwarf multi-tiller OtDWARF53 gene and an application thereof. The nucleotide sequence of the gene is shown in SEO ID NO.1, and the amino acid sequence of a protein encoded by the gene is shown in SEO ID NO.2. The key gene DWARF53 (DWF53) for regulating strigolactones is isolated from ornithogalum thyrsoides based on the obtained invention patent of induction and tissue culture of foliar bulbiets of the ornithogalum thyrsoides and based on ornithogalum thyrsoides tertiary and secondary generation transcriptome conjoint analysis results (3+2), and a constitutive plant expression vector pHB+ OtDWARF53 is constructed, the pHB+ OtDWARF53 is transferred into tobacco, results find that transgenic tobacco plants show the following phenotys: plants have dwarf phenomena, multiple shoots are generated at stem tips, axillary bud lateral buds are formed at leaf axils, and the appearance is more plump, and the results indicate that the gene can have the functions of making the plants dwarf and promoting multi-tiller and multi-branch; and the invention specifically relates to the application of the gene in plant type regulation of regulating plant heights and promoting the development of the axillary bud lateral buds.

Method of screening mutants being insensitive to strigolactone

The invention discloses to a method of screening mutants being insensitive to strigolactone. The method includes the steps of: 1) processing of wile-type arabidopsis thaliana seeds: A) weighing seeds and washing the seeds in distilled water; B) adding ethylmethane sulfonate and uniformly mixing the components in a fume cupboard; C) pouring processed ethylmethane sulfonate in NaOH and cleaning the seeds; D) placing the cleaned seeds in an agar solution and moving the seeds into soil by means of a pipette gun for growth; 2) screening of the mutants being insensitive to strigolactone: A) when the seeds are matured, harvesting the seeds and placing the seeds in a centrifugal tube, and disinfecting the seeds with a bleaching agent solution and placing the seeds in a refrigerator; B) sowing the seeds on an AT culture medium containing the strigolactone by means of the pipette gun; C) irradiating the culture dish, and placing the culture dish in a dark place so that the seeds are germinated; and D) selecting a long-root-system arabidopsis thaliana mutant single plant and transplanting the single plant in soil. The method has simple operations and short screening period, and can quickly and high-effectively screen the arabidopsis thaliana mutants being insensitive to the strigolactone.
