Method of eliminating small bin defects in high throughput TEOS films

This invention provides a high throughput PECVD process for depositing TEOS films in a multi-station sequential deposition chamber. The methods significantly reduce the number of particles in the TEOS films, thereby eliminating or minimizing small bin defects. The methods of the invention involve dedicating a first station for temperature soak while flowing purge gas. Stopping the flow of reactant gas and flowing the purge gas for station 1 eliminates TEOS condensation on a cold wafer surface and significantly reduces the number of defects in the film, particularly for short temperature soaks.

Helmet with Improved Shield Mount and Precision Shield Control

A closed face motorcycle helmet includes a shell with an eyeport and a shield attached for hinged motion between a closed position covering and sealing the eyeport and an open position displaced above the eyeport. A hinge plate is attached to the shell on each side and includes a socket into which a hub of the shield is rotatably disposed for hinged movement of the shield. A lever assembly having a downwardly extending lever and a hub with two dowels is attached to the bottom of the hinge plate. The lever assembly is manually movable between a central home position, a forwardly rotated shield cracking position, and a rearwardly rotated shield restraining position. A motion plate is attached to a lower edge of the shield and covers the hub and dowels of the lever assembly when the shield is closed. Surfaces on the inside of the motion plate interact with the dowels of the lever assembly to provide multiple precision shield control functions. Specifically, flipping the lever forward cracks the shield slightly open to eliminate fog and flipping it rearwardly applies an additional restraining force to the shield preventing it from being blown open by aerodynamic forces, especially at high speeds. A live beam mechanism with micro detents interacts with a projection on the shield to provide fluid-like operation of the shield and the ability to position the shield at virtually any location between fully closed and fully opened.

In a circuit of the low-temperature chilled water, the chilled water is performed with the heat exchange with the refrigerant in the second evaporator to reduce the temperature.

Window condensation control

An air handler draws air from inside a building, optionally from a building space heating system, and expresses that air such that the air travels along the inside surface of a window glazing unit which is susceptible to condensation. The air can be expressed at ambient temperature or with a modest amount of supplemental heat. As the air is expressed onto the window, a convection curtain of relatively warmer air passes adjacent the inside surface of the glass, warming the glass enough that condensation does not form on the glass. The system can be controlled using a sensor, optionally controlled by a computer or other controller, which controls the air flow according to needs sensed at the window. Such computer can be used to provide individualized control of condensation on each of multiple windows. A blower may be used to achieve increased control of rate and persistence of air flow.

The combustion products are passing through the heat exchanger in an indirect heat transfer relationship with water in boiling zone thereby boiling, circulating and evaporating the water in boiling zone and in an indirect heat transfer relationship with cold make up water passing upwardly through solids separation zone thereby preheating cold make up water and cooling combustion products and recovering latent heat and condensing moisture present in combustion products. The cooled combustion products are discharged to outdoors and the collected condensed moisture is discharged to drain. The produced steam is separated from the boiling water in steam separation zone, the solids present in the boiling water are separated from the circulating boiling water and accumulated in solids separation zone and the accumulated solids are cooled by the incoming cold make up water and intermittently discharged from solids separation zone by a water pump together with the incoming cold make up water to drain. The high rate internal circulation of boiling water, the extended self cleaning heat transfer surfaces of the flat tubular type heat exchanger immersed in the boiling water, the recovery of latent heat from flue gases and the discharge of cooled solids with cold make up water provide an exceptionally compact steam generator with overall thermal efficiency of up to 95% and with maintenance free unattended operation. The compact steam generator can be used in humidifying of space air in buildings, in heating of air in domestic central air heating systems and in industrial processes requiring clean steam.
