This invention discloses a
cutting fixture and method applied to the removal of compressor moving blades in a gas
turbine. The
cutting fixture includes: a support module positioned on the compressor disc, the support module having a hollow groove suitable for the compressor moving blade to pass through, with a gap between the hollow groove and the compressor moving blade; a guide module disposed on the support module, suitable for moving axially along the compressor disc; and a
cutting module disposed on the guide module, having a cutting end positioned directly above the gap during cutting, suitable for axial cutting along the compressor disc via the guide module. The support module of this invention positions the cutting module, eliminating the need for operators to hold an
angle grinder. The guide module provides linear guidance for the cutting module, ensuring that the cutting groove cuts linearly along the compressor disc axis, preventing the cutting angle from wobbling due to unstable handling and avoiding accidental damage to the compressor disc.
