optical fiber. The device comprises a control module, a display module, a man-
machine interaction module, a power supply, a memory, a calculation module, a photoelectric converter and an
optical fiber receiving and sending module, wherein the
optical communication end of the optical
fiber receiving and sending module is connected with the OPGW optical
fiber to be tested, the
control signal input end of the optical
fiber receiving and sending module is connected with the control module, the optical feedback
signal output end of the optical fiber receiving and sending module is connected with the calculating module through the photoelectric converter, the calculating module is respectively connected with the memory and the control module, the display module, the man-
machine interaction module and the memory are respectively connected with the control module, and the power supply supplies
electricity to the control module. The device and the method provided by the invention have the
advantage that the higher detection accuracy is realized. Meanwhile, the existing OPGW optical fiber of the line is used as a medium, the conducting wire
icing condition can be obtained, the new addition of the monitoring device on the line is not needed, and the installation work on a
tower is omitted.
