The method includes steps of (a), scanning the inner surface of a wind tunnel by the aid of a three-dimensional laser scanner and acquiring point cloud data of the inner surface of the wind tunnel; (b), selecting a point in the point cloud data, selecting a point set in a specified range on the basis of the point and fitting the point set to obtain spatial planes; (c), determining deviation of each point in the point set and acquiring a difference value between a maximum deviation value and a minimum deviation value and using the difference value as an error of the surface smoothness of the region of the inner surface of the wind tunnel in the range of the point set; (d), comparing the error of the surface smoothness to a preset maximum permissible error, and combining a comparison result with other preset standards to determine whether the smoothness of the region of the inner surface of the wind tunnel in the range of the point set is qualified or not; (e), detecting the other points in the acquired point cloud data one by one according to procedures from the step (b) to the step (d). The method has the advantage that the smoothness of the full range of the inner surface of the wind tunnel can be detected by the method.
